From Humphrey Dumphrey

Humphrey Dumphrey sat on a wall.

Humphrey Dumphrey had a great fall.

All the kings horses and all the kings men

Couldn't put Humphrey together again.

Humphrey Dumphrey picked himself up.

Humphrey Dumphrey said with a harumph,

"That didn't hurt me. I didn't cry.

I'm a real tough macho guy."

Humphrey Dumphrey held his head high.

Humphrey Dumphrey straightened his tie.

Humphrey gave his performance all that he had.

But deep down inside he was hurt and felt sad...

From Making Something Out of Nothing

There was old woman called Nothing-At-All

Who lived in a dwelling exceedingly small.

A man stretched his mouth to it's utmost extent.

And down in one gulp, house and woman, she went.

And down in one gulp went Ms.Nothing-at-All.

Not even one person was there for her fall.

She fell and she slept for a very long time.

And when she awoke, she started to climb.

Her body was broken. Her soul was dismayed.

And as she was climbing, She prayed and she prayed.

She prayed for direction. She prayed for new hope.

She prayed for some courage. She prayed she could cope.

She climbed in the morning. She climbed in the night.

And as she was climbing, she looked for the light.

She looked to the east. She looked to the west.

She knew that this darkness was only a test.

A test of her courage, a test of her strength,

She knew that this journey would be of some length...

From Peter, Peter Pumpkin-Eater,

His New Wife and She's Much Sweeter

Peter, Peter Pumpkin-Eater,

Had a wife and couldn't keep her.

Put her in a pumpkin shell,

And there he kept her very well.

Patti, Patti Pumpkin-Eater,

Knew she had to talk to Peter.

Life inside that pumpkin shell,

Did not suit her very well.

Patti, Patti Pumpkin-Eater,

Went outside to talk to Peter.

She went to him. She was not shirking,

And said, "Hey Pete. It's just not working."...

From Little Jack Horner Comes Out of His Corner

Little Jack Horner sat in a corner,

Eating his Christmas Pie.

He put in his thumb and pulled out a plum,

And said, "What a good boy am I."

Little Jack Horner sitting in your corner,

You certainly know how to please.

You do what you're told. You never are bold.

And you seem to do it with ease.

"If only you knew, what I've had to do,

To smile and be a good boy.

I hide my true self away on a shelf,

And run from my feelings and joy..."

From Little Miss Muffet Faces Her Fears

Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet,

Eating of curds and whey.

When along came a spider who sat down beside her,

And frightened Miss Muffet away.

Little Miss Muffet decided to tuff it,

While eating her curds and whey.

So the next time that spider sat down beside her,

She smiled and said, "You go away!"

Now old mister spider crept right right up beside her,

And said with a gleam in his eye,

"Little Miss Muffet, don't think you can bluff it.

You know I can still make you cry!"

Little Miss Muffet could no longer stuff it,

She decided to make herself known.

So she glanced at that spider, who sat down beside her,

Her true self to him now was shown...

From Humpty Dumpty Gets it Together

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

All the kings horses and all the kings men

Couldn't put Humpty together again.

Humpty Dumpty had fallen apart.

Humpty Dumpty had broken his heart.

He carried his piece around in a bag.

Life for poor Humpty was really a drag...

Nursery Rhymes

Wake Up Mother Goose

Transformational Nursery Rhymes

for the Whole Family

The messages of the original Mother Goose poems have gone into the collective unconscious.  if I am afraid, like Little Miss Muffet, all I can do is run. When my life falls apart as Humpty Dumpty's did, there is nothing anyone can do about it.  I am left broken, a victim with no hope for change.  Wake Up Mother Goose gives us a new vision for the future.

Little Miss Muffet Faces Her Fear tells the story of  how she stood up to a bully and faced her fear. Humpty Dumpty Gets It Together is the story of picking up the pieces when life falls apart. That means just like my favorite nursery rhyme characters, I can face my fear and I can get it together! With these revised nursery rhymes  the vision of transformation becomes easily accessible and a reality for everyone.

On this page you will find excerpts from a few of the Nursery Rhymes that have been transformed over the past 20 years. These Nursery Rhymes are currently in production for publication. We are working as quickly as we can to make them available to you. Please add your name to our Contact page  and we will let you know as soon as they are available.

And finally, here is a link for you to enjoy, an entire Nursery Rhyme called As I Was Standing.
